Kāinga Ora has been tasked with creating a strong and vibrant community at Lakeside, Te Kauwhata. In order to achieve this, Lakeside has been master-planned to provide for a diverse range of New Zealanders.
Lakeside Colab Series homes are a more affordable option aimed at all owner occupiers, whether first home buyers or not. They form an important part of
the vision for Lakeside and open up a market segment not generally catered for in new developments.
The Colab Series homes are 3 bedroom homes, priced at or below $650,000. To be eligible, buyers must meet the following criteria:

Cannot put the home in the name of a Family Trust, Company or Nominee

Will agree to live in the house for a minimum of two years

How It Works
Firstly, contact the Booming Builders team to check which lots are still available and discuss your options. For houses not already built, exterior materials, colours and landscaping are preselected and approved. Internal design, colour and kitchen unit layout can be chosen by the buyer.
Booming Builders will look after you every step of the way,
starting from architect design, building consent, construction, liaison with suppliers, to obtaining CCC (Code Compliance Certificate ). All homes built will comply with 6-Homestar healthy homes standards.
All houses are fully landscaped, including grass seed, fencing, and hedging and trees as per design guidelines.
